Eligibility & Application
1Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a graduating high school senior residing in or attending school within Rhode Island
- Plan to enroll full-time at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Demonstrate financial need through a brief financial statement or FAFSA summary
- Exhibit leadership, community service, or perseverance in overcoming challenges
2Application Materials
Complete applications must include:
- Completed online or paper application form
- Personal essay (500-750 words)
- One letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or community leader
- Unofficial transcript
- Proof of acceptance or intent to enroll in a qualifying institution
